Headliners Adesanya and Cannonier are already firing shots at each other. On his YouTube channel, Adesanya predicted a devastating victory, comparing the upcoming fight to Anderson Silva’s win over Forrest Griffin at UFC 101: “It’s going to be spectacular. UFC 276: Adesanya vs. Cannonier fight card, odds
Going into Saturday’s fight, the odds takers named Adesanya the favorite with odds of -365, to +300 for Cannonier.
Cannonier has a career record of 15-5, and he’s 5-1 after moving up to middleweight. But the “Killa Gorilla” has a knack for knockouts, with 10 of his 20 fights ending by TKO.
Adesanya has earned his place as a favorite with an impressive 22-1 professional record and an unbeaten 11-0 record in the middleweight division. “The Last Stylebender” defended his belt against Robert Whittaker in February at UFC 271, which ended in a decision victory.
As for the co-main event, this will be the third meeting of the undefeated Volkanovski and Holloway. Volkolanski (24-1-0) is the favorite at -180 odds, having beaten Holloway (23-6-0) in their last two fights and knocking out Korean Zombie in the first round of UFC 273.
The UFC 276 undercard, meanwhile, is expected to deliver a very well-matched streak of fights. Bettors have the Murphey vs. Tate fight at +140 and -163, respectively, in what is sure to be an exciting fight.
