A new show arriving on Netflix plans to breathe new life into the Korean zombie genre.
The show, titled “All of Us Are Dead,” centers on a group of high school students facing an extreme crisis situation – the group is trapped in their school as a zombie virus spreads. Netflix is ââteaming up with director Lee JQ to produce the series.
âAll of Us Are Deadâ will be based on a popular Korean web series âNow at Our Schoolâ (literal translation of its Korean title, ì§ê¸ ì°ë¦¬ íêµ ë), which topped the charts not only in South Korea, but also received well in Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan. The show is set to write an exciting new chapter in the Korean zombie genre, as director Lee brings new energy through solid storytelling and eye-catching cinematography.
âAll of Us Are Deadâ is written by Chun Sung-il and directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su. It will be produced by JTBC Studios in association with Film Monster and will premiere on Netflix.
