
Netflix has confirmed the casting of Yoon Chan-yeong, Park Ji-hu, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon and Yoo In-soo for We are all dead, an upcoming original zombie series that follows a group of trapped high school students who find themselves in dire straits as they seek to be rescued from a zombie invasion at their school.
Yoon Chan-yeong will play Cheong-san, an ordinary student at Hyosan High School who tries to save On-jo, a girl he loves, from the crawling zombie virus. Yoon made a strong impression with his performance in the drama series Mom. Since then he has performed in a wide variety of shows including Six flying dragons, Always 17 and Doctor Jean. He also starred in films Birthday and The fault is not yours.

Park Ji-hu will play the cheerful and down-to-earth On-jo, the most popular girl in Hyosan High School. Park has grown in popularity since debuting in 2019 in Hummingbird House, which earned her the award for Best Actress in an International Narrative Feature Award at the 18th Tribeca Film Festival.
Cho Yi-hyun will play Nam-ra, the class president and the highest ranked student in the school. Cho’s credits include the 2019 film Metamorphosis and the recent drama series Hospital Reading List.

Lomon will play Su-hyeok, a student who recently decided to focus on his studies with the dream of becoming a soldier. Park first gained attention with his performance in the drama Dark night. He also starred in Lookism, a Chinese series based on a popular Korean webtoon.
Yoo In-soo will play Gwi-nam, a returning student who could be even more dangerous than the zombie invasion. Yoo debuted in the drama series Strong Girl Bong-soon and built a filmography through several shows, including School 2017, Avengers Social Club, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, and Fairy mom and the lumberjack.

The zombie series, based on the very popular webtoon Now at our school, will be led by Lee JQ (Beethoven virus, The legendary policewoman, Intimate Strangers) and written by Chun Sung-il (Slave hunters, 7th year civil servant).
We are all dead, produced by Film Monster by JTBC Studio, will be available exclusively on Netflix.

Netflix has also confirmed production of the original series. DP (Deserter Pursuit) in collaboration with director Han Jun-hee, well known for his films Coin locker girl and Hit and run squad.
DP is based on the webtoon DP: Dog days by Kim Bo-tong. It tells the story of Jun-ho, a South Korean army soldier assigned to a unit tasked with arresting deserters and, in his job, meets confused young adults. The prospect of a soldier tasked with pursuing other soldiers will be balanced by the portrayal of the pains and struggles of those who choose to desert.
DP stands for ‘Deserter Pursuit’, a unit within the Army Military Police that pursues AWOL soldiers. With this new premise, the original webtoon turned out to be a huge success with over 10 million readers. He also shed light on acts of violence and human rights violations within the military.
DP will be produced by Lezhin Studio in association with Homemade Film, and will be released only on Netflix.
