Five episodes in Yellow jackets‘Year 1 survival drama has been renewed for a second season by Showtime, reports Deadline.
Meagan Navarro just promoted the show here on Bloody with the article “Hell is a cannibalistic teenager:” The Yellow Vests “is the events television you should watch!”
Yellow jackets, featuring a top female cast led by Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, and Fawn cypress, launched with good reviews, the site noting that it has achieved a rare 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and has been seen by over 4 million viewers across all platforms to date. Showtime Entertainment President Gary Levine called it “a pure sensation” and “a hotshot out of a barrel.”
Yellow jackets‘The streaming debut was right after the return of Showtime’s signature drama Dexter with the limited series Dexter: new blood.
The series is from creators / executive producers / co-showrunners Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, executive producer / co-showrunner Jonathan Lisco, eOne and Creative Engine based out of Drew Comins’ studio.
