28 Days Later (2002)
28 days later is a post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, starring Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston, Megan Burns and Brendan Gleeson. It was released in the UK in 2002. The story follows bike courier Jim (Murphy), who wakes up from a coma to discover that the unwitting introduction of a highly contagious, rabies-causing virus has sparked a pandemic and societal collapse. Shaun of the Dead (2004)
The film is the first part of the Cornetto with Three Flavors trilogy, which also includes Warm fuzz (2007) and the end of the world (2013). Shaun (Simon Pegg) is a 30-year-old loser who lives a worldly, carefree life. He lives in a modest flat on the outskirts of London with his neglected best friend, Ed (Nick Frost), when he’s not working at the electronics store. Liz (Kate Ashfield), his lover, is the only unpredictable aspect of his life. She urgently wants Shaun to grow up and become a man. When the town is suddenly overrun by zombies, Shaun must rise to the challenge and protect Liz and her mother (Penelope Wilton). The film is known for being a parody and homage to the dawn of the dead film series.
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Ana (Sarah Polley) manages to flee after her husband is attacked by a zombified neighbor, only to find that her entire Milwaukee neighborhood has been overtaken by the undead. Ana joins a small group that gravitates to the local mall as a stronghold of security after being questioned by cautious cop Kenneth (Ving Rhames). The party teams up to fight the hordes of undead after convincing suspicious security guards that they are not infected. It has an IMDb rating of 7.3 out of 10.

Train to Busan (2016)
The South Korean action-horror thriller Train to Busan was released in 2016. The majority of the film takes place on a bullet train traveling from Seoul to Busan as a zombie apocalypse hits the country, putting passenger safety at risk. Seok-woo is played by Gong Yoo, a fund manager whose wife left him due to her selfishness. On his wife’s birthday, Seok-woo and his daughter take a train to Busan. When they’re stranded in the middle of a zombie outbreak in South Korea, however, the journey becomes a nightmare. It has an IMDb rating of 7.6/10.
The girl with all the presents is a post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film from the United Kingdom. Little Monsters (2019) is a future dystopian film starring Gemma Arterton, Paddy Considine, Glenn Close and Sennia Nanua that shows a breakdown in society after most of humanity is killed by a fungal outbreak. The story follows a scientist, a teacher and two soldiers as they embark on a survival mission with Melanie, a remarkable young child. It has an IMDb rating of 6.6/10.
Man from the Graveyard (1994)
Rupert Everett depicts a miserable guardian of a small Italian cemetery who lies in wait for love while fending off the resurgent spirits of the dead. It is a collaborative effort between Italy, France and Germany. Something drives the dead to rise from their graves as flesh-eating zombies, and cemetery caretaker Francesco Dellamorte (Everett) is tired of killing them all again. Francesco is alone because the town politicians refuse to listen to him. He falls in love with a charming woman (Anna Falchi) whose husband has just died, but their relationship is brutally interrupted by zombies, dragging Francesco into a spiral of madness and despair. Night of the Living Dead (1990)
night of the living dead is an American horror film. Recently deceased people rise from the grave as flesh-hungry zombies for unclear reasons. A small handful of survivors, including Barbara (Patricia Tallman), Ben (Tony Todd), and Harry (Tom Towles), seek refuge in a remote farmhouse as they flee the horde of the undead. As the number of zombies outside the house increases, tensions rise as the party debates the best method to get out of their increasingly dire situation before it is totally overrun.
